Cherice + Justin {Atlanta, GA}

When Cherice's mother first contacted me about possibly working as the photographer for her daughter, Cherice's wedding, we instantly hit it off.  Both former Jersey Girls, we bonded over all things Bergen County, and quickly realized that we shared one very important thing in common: a love for documentary-style imagery.  For anyone that knows me (or if you're currently getting to know me), you know I love to tell stories through my photographs. Even more so, I love when my clients love, understand, and appreciate the beauty of the photojournalistic approach.  This was a family that got it.  They let me have free reign, and I think as you'll see below-- the story of Cherice + Justin's big day is one of fun, laughter, excitement, and sheer happiness, as this beautiful couple and their wonderful families, became one...

Enjoy! :)

(For a quick sneak peak as to what the men are up to....)
After several threats to keep his sneaks on, we finally got him into change into his dress shoes (to his credit, the sneakers DID match the suits!)
3 men and an iPhone...
I'm pretty sure the church youth group was meeting this particular afternoon, so Cherice had a couple unexpected visitors before she walked down the aisle!  We all got a good laugh!

It's time to get married....
After the ceremony held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, the wedding party and their guests headed down to the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot, in Downtown Atlanta... an absolutely breathtaking venue within the Atlanta city limits.

The popcorn station... a BEFORE shot... :)
While everyone starts to filter into the reception, I get my chance to sneak off with Cherice + Justin for a little couple photo session...
How cute is this next photo??  Great idea!
Alright, alright... it's time to get some of the wedding party/families in these shots!!!
First up... the gentlemen...
Wait, these men need a lady in these shots!!
Now, how about a few more ladies...
Now a few more with just the ladies...
A few family shots...
And now it's time to party!!!
The wedding party awaiting their introductions...
Getting ready to make their grand entrance...
Mr + Mrs Muckle Everyone!!!

I did want to take a moment to recognize Keshawn Ridgel of Event Passion, LLC, for her and her team's AMAZING work on making sure this wedding came together as beautiful as it did. Keshawn and her staff were such an absolute pleasure to work with, and did everything in their power to make the day go smoothly.  What a great company, run by a truly wonderful leader!  For any Atlanta brides looking for a wedding planner... I highly recommend Keshawn and Event Passion!
